Anybody installed the factory 2 door hatch arm rest?

The dealer threw one in for free, but the installs folks were gone for the day by the time I bought the car...anyways it looks pretty simple so I was just going to pick it up from the dealer and do it myself

Anybody have any input?

Very easy to do. I never use it and will probably take it out.

It's comfortable for me but seems a little frail. Almost a year and no problems, though.

Mine came with instructions. I loosened the inside seat hold-down bolts to install the heavy wire retainer bail fot the lower part. I wound up raising the shifter and shortening the arm rest for comfort. I cut about 3/4" out of the support and used a plastic welder to put it back together. A little Bondo and black paint later and its all good.
