DIY custom flat bed
So i did the rear 60/40 back seat delete a while back and decided to build a deck where the trunk used to be, since once the back seats are gone, there really is no "trunk". Deminsions were 36" X 29" incase anyone was wondering.
I started with 3/4 inch thick MDF. - - Added brackets to hold it to the car. - - Test fit. Also added a small lip to add support and act as a barrier. - - Added carpet. - - Bolted to car. Notice odd location of subwoofer. - - Relocated subwoofer. - |

That turned out great, what I like most about it is that you made it really simple to do.

I figured you were going to make it go all the way to the front seats

Thanks Jabro.
Dragoonmc - i was thinking about doing something like that. but i like having the area behind the front seats open. i also took into consideration easy removal for track days. |
