That's my point. I don't believe the Molnar rods are any less of a rod than Carillo. It seems to me the owner of Molnar just keeps things in better perspective.

Did you use them in your build?

I'm seeing 8-10 psi from my td04. On stock internals. Been going strong for almost a year now.

Out of curiosity does anyone have the weights of the stock pistons compared to the aftermarket options? All of the aftermarket pistons appear to be quite heavy compared to the stock ones.

That is an interesting question indeed. I can ballpark the stock weight prolly next week once I get my crank back. I would suppose aftermarket will dependent upon design (I or H beam) and manufacturer.

I'm not so concerned about the rod weights since I'm not allowed to change those under the rules anyway, and there is very little to gain, but the pistons I'm very interested in.

Oh crud...missed that sorry. I don't have any way to hook you up with just the piston weight. I really don't want to take this apart since it has twisted (pardon the pun) sentimental value.

How much horsepower/torque are you making and how usually do you floor the pedal? thats very important.

By the way here in greece we have 2 1nzfes working on 150whp/ 19wkgm for over 4 years with mild/agressive driving without issues
