Yes, There's some major redification going on here...

I would have preferred a white one, but considering the last vehicle was white I agreed to get the red one. Love it nonetheless!
Wished Toyota would have offered a Yellow with the 3rd generation models, I would have been all over that in a heartbeat

This little car has cost me $$$$$ so far with upgraded parts, but all worth it.

Is there any danger to washing engine bay on a Yaris? I have read the best way is cover alternator and to spray simple green on cold engine and let it sit 10 minutes or so then gently wash with a wash mitt and car soap then rinse with a gentle mist spray from nozzle. This all sounds pretty safe and logical but looking at my engine bay there are so many nooks and crannies water can get into like under fire wall and around fender wells and wasn't sure if there is any danger on shorting anything out.

Good question with this car. I know I used simple green Max on my old cavalier, but the process was different, heat the engine up, spray everything down with simple green, let sit for 30 mins, wash everything off with a hose. Been wanting to clean up my engine bay, so this advice interests me.

Ok update, this past weekend I cleaned the engine bay on both my Yaris and Mustang. My method was to cover alt. with plastic bags and then spray simple green all over engine, firewall, fender wells ect. Let it sit for about ten minutes then took a soft brush and wash mitt with car soap and gently cleaned all the areas I could. Then used garden hose with nozzle turn to wide fan and opened just enough to get a gentle mist and rinsed everything down. Then dried it really good with a leaf blower and left hood up about a half hour longer. Started cars and no check engine lights or problems. Engine bays look like new again.
