Finished my red theme & bench delete.

EDIT/UPDATE:

Should of posted in (Cosmetic Modifications (Exterior/Interior)...Next time.

Still need to find new rear badge as the yellow one on the back is 2 stage epoxied on.Once I get a new one it will be black.

I know this bright red is not for everyone but saw another member do it and liked very much.

It gives the somewhat bland interior a sporty happy feeling.

Let me know if you want any details.

I like it. You've really made the car your own. You're right, the stock interior is very conservative and orderly, which I like in my own car, but it's cool to see someone take it in a new direction. You've given it a whole new feel.

Thanks man!

It doesnt look so shiny in real,it definitly gives the interior a warmer feel.I may do the 2 top compartment lids??..but will definitly do the cup holders.

Got my side mirror covers done and will take pics once installed.

Drive555 doesn't drive anything. It's a spambot.

I think painted cupholders would look good, but the glovebox lids might be a bit much. They're like this car's little secret. The guy I bought the red Yaris from owned it for five years, and he didn't know about the driver's glove box until he went to clean it out for the sale.

Yeah I noticed the link but members can link a website so was not sure.

I may do the top glove boxes satin black like I did the center console. This would even out the black and do the cup holders red.

I need to remove dash to get cup holders out though which is fairly easy from my research.

Good job on you've done so far. Not really my taste but I can definitely appreciate what you've done and how you've made it your own!

That's the beauty of modifying your car, making it your own for what fits your personality.

What the toggle switch hooked up to in the middle console?

Thanks!

The toggle is foglights.I did not use relay but inline fuse only.

I also disabled the daytime running lights and use the fogs as my DRL.

I like full manual control of everything whenever possible.

My stereo is also connected direct with toggle and also physically removed buzzer from instrument cluster..that things annoying.

Got the mirrors done yesterday..

Just black plastic.

I went to Auto body shop with my color code and got some paint mixed and canned.

If you ever clearcoat use this BTW.

Its a 2 stage unlike single stage which is crap.

https://www.amazon.ca/USC-Spray-Glos.../dp/B0043B7UQY

You can find $10.00 cheaper locally

The same stuff but different name is called Eastwood

Get to the rust ASAP.

This 2x clear will outlast 1x 10 fold over.It also gives a factory looking finish.

I was going to buff after a week or so but may leave as its shiny enough.

Going to do the clay bar thing to the body though and may try this bit of kit.
