Any suggs for a quieter tire...I'm not racing or anything just driving

Why would you make a second thread on the same subject, ask the question in your first one?

any tire is better than the wanli.

if you want a reasonably quiet tire, look at the Kumho Ecsta AST or the Yokohama AV-ES100 both quieter than any wanli, and with much better grip.

i won't comment on regular passenger tires, because i've never bought any

I have alway found that the user reviews/surveys on tirerack.com to be a vauable tool in choosing a tire, including how quiet a paticular tire is.

you have to take into account who's using the tire too. a tire may be quiet on a BMW but loud on a yaris..

Yes, I take each opinion with a grain of salt and read between the lines, etc.

Non the less, I find the user opinions on TR to be very accurate on the average.

not really accurate, but definitely useful :) the guy with the 240SX who complains that tire-xyz doesn't last is probably drifting on it ;)

Well, we all have opinions. All we have to go on is other's opions.
Are we to believe that your opinions are not accurate?

As I said, I read between the lines and consider the source.

Also, if the opions are useful, doesn't that also mean that they are accurate to one degree or another?

the problem is that a lot of people associate opinions with facts on the internet.

for instance. it is my opinion that the 1nzfe is not worth wasting money on to build up, simply to make power.

is it a fact?

no.

but it's pretty true..

fuzion ZRi, or HRi tires are quiet and cheap...and they look good with cool tread. summer tires tho

also, yokohama es-100 tires are quiet and come in h w and z ratings. they're cheap and good...with a treadwear rating over 400 for a performance tire...that's close to michillen pilot's
