Heat/air conditioning inside/outside selector knob broken

I have a 2011 Yaris sedan that I am having issues with the knob that selects whether the air from my heater/air conditioner is recirculated or fresh air from the outside comes in. Last fall it got really cold and I turned on my heater and went to turn the air selector knob and the knob had absolutely no resistance and the air was stuck in recirculation. Now that winter has set in fully, the recirculating air doesn't dry out and the windows don't like to defog which makes driving not only a pain in the neck but a little dangerous. Please help.

Look down about 15-20 posts for the one titled "my air circulation switch just broke" the search function is your friend here. You can remove the glove blocks and manually change the air flow if you want to fix it quickly for safety's sake
