TTR 2016 Updates

So we are halfway into the 2016 year and pretty much my update path for 2015 has been completed so I figured that I would catalog new setup changes in a new thread.

So if you missed the fact that I needed to upgrade my radiator once the built engine was put in and I started putting down at least 240whp/238tq back in 2014 I did a bunch of research and ended up going with a 92-00 Honda Civic 3 core aluminum half rad. My OEM rad/fan was hitting between 230-240° in stop-n-go. The rad over all seems like it is a good choice as my temps across the board dropped about 15°, but I'm not getting the temps I would like to see with the fan that came with it. Cruising at 60-65 she will sit between 180-195° and if in mild traffic in city around 200-205°. In constant yo-yo traffic on roadways it didn't take too long to sit at around 208-212° and then in true stop-n-go city stoplight type traffic she hits 225° and stays there. I have reached out to the site below to verify the mounting dimensions of their kit as I don't have much room to work with anymore with the IC piping and hose for the catch can. I have also picked up a Mishimoto Low Temp thermostat from someone which should help as well. I am thinking that this kit below especially having the shroud that it does will do the trick. Worse come to awful if the fan isn't enough the shroud will accept most universal fans out there so I could go with a different fan, but Honda guys with boosted builds on a bunch of forums have been pretty happy. I had been looking at a Spal or Proform, but to get higher CFMs (over 1k) is tough since those fans are typically almost 4" deep at the back of the fan motor.

For reference I am using AMSOIL's Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant and water since it is allowed at venues where I race as the glycol in it is more environmentally friendly than the Toyota pink.
