nope. most i had was 4 people in my car and it never bottomed out over bumps and such. I have a liftback, but I wouldn't think it'd make much of a difference.

i've had my 06 hatchback filled with four other people and camping gear, with absolutely no problems at all. maybe it's just the sedan, the factory suspension in the hatch is so high, it seems absurd that you would ever scrape

I've hauled 4 passengers and me in my LB without any rubbing or weird noices. I would say it is just that specific car issue.

I regulary drive 4 people around in my 5dr Liftback, with combined weight of about 800lbs. No problems. However, their was one situation, where I was blasting over a small curb while turning, with a full load and the front end bottomed out. I made a mental note never to try that again.
