License Plate Bolts
Does anyone know what the front/rear bolt sizes for the license plates are?
Thanks. |

I think they are just large screws with a very coarse thread. Mine are and I reinstalled my plates yesterday. They just go into plastic.

You may well be right. Mine were held on with large screws, front and back, but that's not to say they weren't originally bolts in the back, front, or both.

I believe the rear license bolts are M6-1.00X16, but I could be wrong.

Most dealers give away licence plate frames and bolts/screws. Just ask. I've taken advantage of this numerous times.

These are the bolts that I use, and I really like the quality. They also won't tear the paint coat on a painted license frame (or plain license) when installed properly. I am very happy with them.
