Rear Sway bar for 08 sedan

What are the top options? Who has the best price? I had read a few older threads mentioning Micro Image, but the website says they are out of stock.

I just bought a TRD rear sway bar for $174 including shipping on Ebay, which is just the normal going rate of around $150 + shipping.

TRD or Ultra Racing are both nice. Micro Image has the best priced of $150 shipped for the 19mm UR bar.

I'd email and ask when they are getting more in stock. Their email is sales.microimage@gmail.com.

Thanks for the replies. I have emailed micro image about the UR bars, but haven't heard back for a few days.

Still haven't heard back. Does anyone else know if these things regularly come back in stock?

^ Where did you email? I haven't seen it, or any PM's on here.

Yes they do. However, it's a heavy product and it comes from overseas, so it takes a while to get here. We batch our Ultra Racing orders to make them as large as possible, so we save something on shipping -- it's the only way we can offer the prices that we do.

Emails are answered as soon as we can get to them; I apologized for any delay, your patience is appreciated -- we do get to everyone.

In another thread, Yarisworld member, carolinablue states "You can get a real TRD one one at partsnet.com for $149 with free shipping if you use the pull down menu for shipping method."

I run the TRD bar but am keen to try the 23mm UR or 22mm Whiteline as my sedan still understeers bigtime on particularily low traction street surfaces. The extra nose weight and power of the Blitz SC isn`t helping the situation.

I like my Ultra Racing 23mm sway. Keeps it a bit stiffer than the 19mm, just be careful because you'll find yourself taking corners at what feels like "normal" speeds and won't think twice of it because it feels the same as without, but your tire edges will be beaten into submission if you don't drive easy.

If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

I have had my UR 19mm for 2 years this month. This last winter was the only one that it has seen in snow. I am not impressed at all with the supposed quality. It is rusted terribly. I understand the elements are the elements, but my lowering springs for example are in excellent shape and they have been on the same period of time and quite possibly been subjected to worse with them being in the wheel wells which get they beating they do.

I have a 23mm bar and do not have that problem even though I do drive aggressively at times.
I guess it all depende on what tires you have.
Personally, I have a set of Yokohama "Avid TRZ" (stock size) and I like them as a good inexpensive AS tire.

Sounds like you need a camber adjustment (more negitive). The factory grandma spec. wasn't intended for spirited driving.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but I reached to find a US dealer on these and was referred to Throwdown Performance a US distributor. They said they had this in stock when I emailed them yesterday.
