AC pulley

wondering if anyone has pulled the pulley off the AC compressor yet and how you got it off
and fixed any bearing issues....

Taking the pulley off requires being able to hold the pulley still while turning the 7mm shaft. I made a simple tool out of a piece of flat stock and two 6mm bolts. I tapped the holes in the flat stock to allow me to adjust the depth of the bolts. To unscrew the pulley from the shaft you have to put the ratchet with the 7mm socket in the tighten, rather than loosen direction.

Once you remove the metal, outer pulley, there is a snap ring that holds the inner pulley in place. My snap ring tools was not large enough for it, so I just worked my way around it with a needle nose pliers to release it.

There is a bearing within the inner pulley that is hopefully the one that you need to replace. If the bearings within the compressor are bad, you will need to remove the bolts beneath the pulley to gain access to them:
