Good news is that I truly outdid myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take them down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But, two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder, almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize my decorations were fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). She was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up into my yard.
I feel like I gave in to the man by taking my decorations down but, my neighbor did confirm there were two near-miss accidents on the busy street next to my house. I think I made the decorations too real this time……

Id like to hire the guy that did your gutters to come do mine, thats some crazy good weight capacity. Oh and i would tell the neighbors and the cops to go elf themselves and put a spike strip in my front yard for those brave enough to drive on it.

I can't believe people were actually driving on your yard. You HAVE to post pictures now of the decorations you had.

Also, my car with xmas lights:

Thanx it was something fun to do. I even used a power inverter to light up the lights around the car.

I did something similar for halloween. My dummy was an exact replica of my body.... had to wrap myself up in saran wrap and tape, then stuffed the shell with more saran wrap.....it was great...

that sux that you had to take that down... but that's pretty awesome... especially staging the ladder there and all. I live in a cul de sac, so maybe
i can get away with it next year..
