Update

you r right

there is a leak I tried to turn on AC today and no cold air. I dont know what happens but it seems the mechanic was lying that there is no leak.

Now, I am unsure how / where / to test the system / leaks

Besides a leak, if the pressure sensor is bad, the system will also not run. If the mechanic has a Toyota specific electronic test tool he can read the codes and signal outputs from the AC ECU (this can not be done with a generic code reader)

According to that post, you were working after a recharge. If that was the case, then the pressure sensor is working.

Update I have got a minor leak in condenser.

Initally I was told its all ok when I went back they show me the leaks. I said why you regass when there was a leak just to take money. He said you sort out the condenser and I will regass free. I am really disappointed.
Asked him if this is a minor leak can he seal that he replied this will damge the compressor and more faults. he suggested replace the condenser.

moving forward I will not trust any mechanic.

Looking for a used condenser to replace thanks for all it is highly appreciated.

Thinking to replace the conderser by myself then go for free regas.

Any advise would be highly appreciated.

Can't help with the ac but there are good mechanics out there.

As well as a lot of shady ones.
