Freedom told by pictures -- Inspired by my son

Just pictures of what inspires you to desire and act to obtain freedom and teach others of it's value. Freedom defined by Websters says:

Main Entry: freeˇdom
Function: noun
Date: before 12th century
1 : the quality or state of being free: as a : the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action b : liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another : independence c : the quality or state of being exempt or released usually from something onerous <freedom from care> d : ease, facility <spoke the language with freedom> e : the quality of being frank, open, or outspoken <answered with freedom> f : improper familiarity g : boldness of conception or execution h : unrestricted use <gave him the freedom of their home>

This is for EVERYONE!!

It always amazes me that when people in the US think of "Freedom", their first thought is for the armed forces, and how great they are. When people in places like Burma/Myanmar think of Freedom, their first thought is to get RID of the armed forces.
Likewise wirth the weaponry. Until people learn to put down their guns, the ones without are always at the mercy of those with. Not a "freedom" thing at all - guns are more of a domination thing.

Mods - I know this should really be in the "political" thread, so feel free to drop it. Just needed to express my amazement...

Just a nod to those that are willing to lay down their lives so that we may keep the freedom that we enjoy. Just my thought on why I have posted what I have.
