i ordered individually from a merchant ( $ 160 shipped w/30 days $ back plus 1 yr. warranty parts & labor); manufacturer will usually sell for a group orders @ $ 150 shipped ---- prius forum guys were the ones who ordered i believe over 100 pcs @ that price but for me $ 10 doesn't make any difference for such an amazing device.........

Sir, we lived below FPL for few years and believe me - I know how it feels - actually I have learned one thing : WHAT MATTERS IS NOT WHAT YOU MAKE BUT HOW YOU SPEND IT; anyways - for me now saving $ 10 on ScanGauge II is negligible if compared with saving $ 10 on two 10 lb. bags of potatoes ( if you know what I mean - probably not............)

( if you know what I mean - probably not............),I do,and WTF you mean by probably not,I had no negetive opinions at all, just saying some people really need $10.00 campared to others, actually the SG2 will pay for its self during the lifetime of the unit if used properly.

actually, i called the ebay seller who i ordered it from and told him about that " $ 10 off" thing. He will issue the refund in the amount of $ 11 ----- so called 110% price guarantee. Thanks for saving me $ 11 :)
p.s. the call was toll- free............ |

Good for you! The last Fleabay seller I dealt with claimed actual shipping on his product, but attempted to charge me 3X the actual cost.

Can you buy these a chain stores. I ask because you can't get them here in toronto, and to have shipped from states will incur customs charges. I may have to drive to buffalo, but wonder where I can get one?

before i ordered on ebay i checked local auto stores ( autozone, advance auto parts, napa, even wall-fart) and none of them carried it--------- the cheapest , "similar" device autozone could offer ran at like $ 250 and i even forgot what it was called............
sorry about bad news |

There are actually a few others out that at considerably higher prices, but I do not see where they offer anything more then the scanguage.

I read that you can upload the codes to ECU and modify engine/tranny tuning ( it should have an uplink because you can always turn off the "service engine" light). But, because SEEING IS BELIEVING, I will post here when I put my hands on that little cute gadget :)
