Shaky motor

Ive been trying to diagnose the noises underneath the hood. I found out that i need an OEM serpentine belt. But, thats not what im asking...

Our engines, do they normally rattle or shake? Vigorously rattling or shaking??

they make putt-putt sounds like a small engine but they
do not shake in the engine bay except when started

they do have a tiny mid-frequency vibration like all engines do when running

mine does that also. i take pretty good care of my "baby", it shouldnt be doing that i think. i did notice a small amount of rust by my engine mount thingy near the top of the engine on the passenger side, would that have anything to do with it?

Mine rattles sometimes at idle, but I suspect it's my water pump or my radiator fan being.. less than pristine. The motor doesn't shake, but it's nto any more noisy than I think it should be. I have an 06 with 140k kms
