Odd pop from front driver wheel area.

Wifes 07 Auto has an odd pop/rattle sound. I pulled the tire off today and everything felt tight and checked the Axle no excess play in it and the boots were good.

All I can figure is it could be a hub bearing. The car has 96K on it. Any of you guys seen/heard this problem or done the bearing? is it available as a whole assembly?

Is'nt there a TSB about this, something to do with a corroded bolt that snaps off?

TSB #T-SB-0055-11

Some 2007 – 2011 model year Yaris vehicles may exhibit a noise from the front area that is heard
under acceleration/deceleration, when braking, or when driving over an uneven road surface. New
front lower suspension arm, crossmember, and No. 2 front lower suspension arm bolts are now
available to address this condition.

Looks like that could be it. Any worries of failure or is it a noise issue?

Just remembered the other 1/2 heard a similar noise when coming home from work . Said it was like that of a windshield cracking . We took the car in for the control arm bolts after hearing an occasional creaking and said to be fine . Forgot to mention the snapping noise . Wonder if we should take it to a different TOYO service center for a second look and opinion . Last , would the bolt head(s) end up missing over time ?

the bolt head could snap off the control arm, and....basically you can lose control of the car. get that bolt tightened or replaced as soon as you can :)
i had it for about...3-4 months. guess i was lucky it didnt snap.
