Any Yaris window switch recall updates?

When I first heard about the Yaris window switch recall, I called my dealership.
After providing the year, make, and model, I was told that I would be receiving a letter about the recall within 2 weeks.
However, nearly six weeks have passed and I have received no letter.
Has the recall been cancelled? Or has Toyota decided not to inform owners about the recall.

I received the letter as well (about 40 days after the accident :( )

Been meaning to scan it and post it here for you all to see. I'll try to remember to do that tomorrow.

Got my letter a couple of weeks ago.

I don't want to leave my Yaris with the dealership. Are they just relubing the switch assembly, or replacing it? If replacing, I'd rather install it.

The recall states it's an inspection and relube.

If I were you I would let the dealer do it so that if there is a subsequent failure that causes a fire there would not be any negative insurance implications.

Just an FYI: The notification letter from Toyota is NOT needed to have the remedy performed.

Had mine done. About 30 minutes and I was on my way. They likely just lubricated it since it couldn't have been worn. I'd never touched it before reading the notice.

A month ago my left window failed to open. I had to call them to find out why it wouldn't open. A week later i got the recall letter. I went to the dealership to get it fixed. All they did was lubed it up and it's now functioning as per normal.
