i didnt find it too hard to install

i thought it drove fine

idle is high for the same length of time its high w/ a regular tb. its just the the throttle position sensor thinks that X% of openage has a certain area....that area is increased w/ teh larger throttle body, so the rpms are higher....itd be waaay less annoying in warm climates where it barely needs to warm up...

if no one wants mine, ill might just throw it back on in the spring...

No review yet...haven't installed it. I have a stock plastic intake manifold that I'm in the process of spliting open to modify. Once that's done the whole shabang is getting installed, run for a while to make sure a CEL won't come on, and then getting tested on a dyno. I'll keep everyone posted, but I most likely won't have any news until after the holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I guess being late to the game, I'm trying to see the real advantages of increasing to another economy car's TB. Would'nt this be good for only 1-3 H.P. max, and then it would also affect FE less proportionally than the gain in HP is worth, right? Or am i missing something?
Once Rich's manifold is produced, was'nt it dynoed on the oem TB?

Rich's manifold is designed to take either the xD TB or the stock TB. The xD's TB is designed for the 1.8l engine, so it's able to flow a lot more air, helping (especially with Rich's manifold) to let the engine breath dramatically better at higher RPM's.

Gotcha, Thanks WW. I may be out looking for a new TB then.
