i dont have one on mine. my other car has a rear wiper. I never used it and some of my friends have had their wipers removed and the rear windshield replaced. hence i found no need for it. however, i am in california so that may play a part why i never used it. i bought my yaris without a radio and without the power package. spent $35 for remote power locks (ebay) and the radio was free from my sister's 4runner.

I live in kansas and ended up using it the day I got it. I find it very helpful when it is raining and snowing. And in kansas it could be 70 one day and snowing the next so u never know.

I have used it on occasion... but I'd be happier with form over function in this case :)

Mine did not. Have only had one on my Highlander. Really not much use. Just another blade to remember to replace.

I don't have it (was 700$ extra )
It doesn't bother me that much. What bothers me is the glass who always gets dirty on hatchbacks. The whipper would only clean a little surface of it. And to date I never felt the need to have a whipper no matter was the weather was - including snowing |

The non-wipered back end is very nice and clean, but I find mine to be dead useful, especially back when we had a bit of snow.

I support the view in the above post. I think it is kind of a choice between a better look and a better rear view. I have the rear wiper and I use it a lot during winter and the rainy season. The only regret is it cannot be set to work intermittently, but what can I ask for in a value-for-money model anyway?

Every morning I wake up, brush my teeth, and thank God I don't have a rear wiper on my Yaris... in that order.

I use mine a lot. Due to the fact the ass of the LB Yaris gets so dirty. I frequently find myself using the rear wiper and squirter to clean the rear window. Really the reason I have it is for the rear defrost. That is a must have anywhere it ices and snows.

i use it all the time though, especially in the winter and am really glad that it's there because that back window gets full of crud/snow/slush/sludge. |

Here in our weather conditions, I do need the rear wiper, though sometimes I still envy those who have the clean rear look without it. Just cannot have the best of both worlds. |

When i had an echo hatchback.. at highway speed, i didn't need the rear wiper. the spoiler blows enough wind on it to keep it clean most of the time..
but i still like the rear wiper :) |
