razor on these windows? oh, I don't know if I trust myself with that. On a regular glass, maybe but on my Yaris, IDK...

I could clay the car at some point, though. Thanks everybody

can't help it if the car sits alone all day, gets rained on and what not :iono.

There is no difference between Yaris glass and regular glass. The razor will be fine. HOWEVER, you cannot use a razor on the rear window on the inside. You'll scrape off the defroster wiring :)

I've never seen or tried Stoners. For nearly 40 years Windex has gotten the job done fine for me. Wifey always has some stashed under the kitchen sink.

The best window cleaner out there is a mixture of vinegar & water, used with newspaper.

^ Its also a great non-toxic way of cleaning inside the window against the tint.

When I was having my home tinted, the installer suggested ONLY using water a vinegar mixed dilute - As most other chemical break down the adhesive properties of the tint over time.

used stoners but have switched to rainx glass cleaner with rain repellent 2 in 1 with microfibers..
as for the HARD water stains here in the northwest, only way i could get rid of mine was taping the edge of the windows and using meguiars m4 heavy cut cleaner with boatloads of elbow grease which made it look new when clay bar etc didnt do squat... should of done before/after pics but forgot.
to prevent the water spots, avoid rain obviously or try clean/dry them often and applying rain x does help a little.

just used 000 steel wool for outside hard water stain. They work great.

I am planning to apply some rain-x to prevent further spots building up.

To save money buy a gallon of window cleaner on your vehicle and pour into a spray bottle. Clean and cleaning products from top brands and lasts much longer. The best way to clean a window with the appropriate equipment for cleaning windows.
