I'm hope they actually go the same route Nissan did and offer a C-HR trim with a more powerful drive-train. C-HR - TRD Edition anyone?

Amen!

The mighty Hyundai will get things back on track...

OMG. That's way worse than the new Ridgeline.

I don't think you can put the i3 in the cartoonish vehicle that no one else has category, haha. I like it a lot and am seeing more and more of them on the road. Newer, yes, cartoonish, not so much, and I think it's only a matter of time before we see more of them on the roads than there are Yaris'.

It looks pretty cartoony to me.

I think I'd go with futuristic before cartoonish. I can also picture them, and have seen some online, with wheels, etc. looking really nice.

I like the i3 BUT reliability isn't so hot and I think it's grossly overpriced for what it provides. But, it's definitely unique. Like the car, but not so crazy about the rims.

I've only seen a few i3's on the road, but each time I wondered who would actually look at that car and think... I want that! Well, an old car salesman once told me, "There's an ass for every seat."

that C-HR is really cool

almost bought a Juke 2 years ago, but the salesmen were game players

really wanted a FJ Cruiser, but the wife hated it

It isn't a bad looking vehicle, just sort of odd looking by my reckoning - in the same way that the Scion IQ is odd looking to me. Also, I just cannot bring myself to buy a car that has poor reliability ratings - which is why I will never buy a VW/Ford/etc., even though I like the look of some of their models. When it comes to cars, I will only buy something that is aesthetically pleasing to my eye, AND is rated highly for reliability/build-quality.

While I enjoy the novelty of driving a year/model/trim car (2015/2016 Yaris SE) that is rare on the roads, and akin to a Bigfoot sighting where I live, I would have still purchased it even if it was as popular as the Corolla. I really like the look/feel of the Yaris SE trim, and wanted a small, ultra-reliable hatchback again, instead of a sedan. I wish that subcompacts were a more diverse market here in the U.S., like it is in Europe/etc, instead of just a simplified/niche market where the cheapest subcompact (Versa) sells to the budget new car buyers in boatloads, and pretty much no one else is interested in the segment.
