Navigation sytem screen too bright - Toyota Yaris Forums

I have just bought a new facelift Yaris YRX with a navigation system in it. The map screen is far too bright but I can't find any adjustment for it and can't find any info in the manual supplied by Toyota. Does anyone know how to carry out this adjustment, would rather do it myself if possible, don't really want to take it back to Toyota.
The Toyota part number for the system is: PZQ60-00532

try pressing and holding menu until a beep is heard

this allows access to display settings on -most- Fujitsu Ten Navi units
