Do you have 60/40 seats in the rear? IIRC (re reading a post) the bottoms slide IF you have 60/40 seats. I have a 2007 3-door with the bench seat in the rear and the BOTTOM does NOT slide.

Never mind. I found out how to slide the seat. I can't believe I never noticed the levers next to the ones that tip the seat down.

*sigh* The flatness of the load floor in Pawplus' picture on that linked thread kinda makes me wish I had the 60/40 seats.

Also, did you know that the lever that lets you tip the seat down forward also lets you recline the seat back about 3inches?

The rear seat back on the bench seat has this feature as well. I keep it permanently reclined.
