TRD Gauges

These just look so clean, I'm actually considering picking them up even though they're so $$$$

http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f46988701

Anyone know of a more local place to pick these up?

There's also this fancy Blitz version of the "scanguage" pretty much has the same features...

How much are those? Hey vendors, add these to your lists before I go drop 100+ bucks on an autometer tach!

I beleive the small gauges are Water Temp and Oil Temp.

You could probably, if it came down to it, customize your own drivers side glovebox cover with some sort of gauge cluster... correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that one would fit a LHD Yaris.

The seller just replied my email and if I'm understanding his nihongo correctly these are the details:

Tach (Center)
Water temp (right side)
Oil (left side)--- not sure if it's oil temp or oil pressure

The price is ~ $1150 US shipped ($$$$!!!)

Brand new, includes plug and play wiring (no splices needed) the cluster seems to be bonded to the US passenger side cover, but it should be able to be separated and glued/riveted to the US driver side.

Currently I have the Scanguage II installed on the steering column, and I also tried it in the center console (by the speedo as well as to the side...) The problem is that the rpm's on the scanguage don't update very quick (even in fast mode) and I find it difficult to see what's going on in all mentioned locations.

Even though the install above looks great, you would still have to look through the steering wheel to view the guages. I would really prefer to have something higher up in closer to where I'm looking and not centered on the dash...

It looks good it made me drool at first sight especially next to that bride seat. But the price just made me stutter. Is it really worth $1150.
Hopefully there will be an aftermarket replica gauge cluster, then i can get it in dry CF.

It's Oil Temp, the max notch is 15, the TRD Oil Pressure gauge only reads up to 10

If I wasnt so busy lately, I'd try to see about an A-Pillar pod solution for our cars, but until my job decides to stop working me to death, I won't be making much progress.

Don't do that.. it sounds like a rip off.
You can buy all 3 gauges for less than $200... even if you go with Delfi, it is still much cheaper.
The price is ridiculous!!

Does it come with the cover or just the cluster itself? Can't you just unscrew it and replace it on the left hand dash?

Use Autometer gauges or something like that and just make a housing out of fiberglass and paint it black. $1,150 is just plain stupid for something that won't even fit in our cars, not to mention the guy is probably trying to rip you off to begin with.

i'm waiting for my Blitz R-VIT i-Color. apparently, we can adjust a/f ratio with it as well. that function only works on late model toyota cars.
