mine's a lot weirder, it took me some time to come up with it...
the TMG part in capitals are my initials and eiao are the vowels of my first and last name, backwards. been using it since my very first Hotmail account and the good ol' days of mIRC...

keesue is an ancient word in an obscure and mostly forgotten language which roughly translated means: A person who walks the walk (all the way to the bar for a Guinness...heh).

very first screen name from the days of the original AOL ("you've got mail", for the younger folks that never had to deal with dial-up modems and missed phone calls). static = standing still; stationary; lacking motion; since i'm the laziest person you'll meet, but just remember that lazy doesnt necessarily mean stupid. in my case, it only means stupid SOMETIMES (high school valedictorian, mensa inductee, engineering grad, certified math teacher). 808 = BOB, my nickname. the only time i get called robert is when i'm in trouble with the mom or the wifey...

LV = I live in Las Vegas, Nevada (Sin City)
Aquaman = I love the water. I was on the Swimming/Diving/H2O Polo Team in high school and college. I also like the irony of being an aquaman in the middle of the Mojave Desert. I have used this name for about 10 years. |

ECHOKnight2000 was inspired by the 80's TV show Knight Rider, I'm a big fan. The car on there was the Knight Industries Two Thousand or K.T.T. so I thought I adopt the Knight2000 and ECHO and felt it went together, plus my car being two door and black. Yes I know its not a Trans-Am Maybe in another life...

Mine came from another hobby of mine - backpacking.
It is traditional, especially on the Apalachian Trail, to have a trail name. On one trip, my crummy old boots gave out and were tearing my feet up pretty bad. When I complained, one of my companions told me to play a sad, sad song on my violin. The name stuck and I've used it on internet forums too, starting with backpacking forums. |
