what's it called?
hi there! i have a question to a engine compartment part. does any one know the name of the plastic shield to the right of the radiator? it's a black plastic pannel that keeps stuff from going in to the engine and sits behind the upper grill and is to the right of the radiator. i have a wish list that i need to finish in order to find out how much i am goinf to spend fixing my car. so far, my list is:
1. front bumper cover 2. lower radiator support tie bar 3. ...?... and, if you could be so kind and let me know if there is anybody out there selling item 1? used in polar white? thank you much.

He wants it painted polar white to match the rest of his car. It would look kind of silly rolling around with a different color front bumper.

Tamago,
does the xA have a short radiator? This plastic part is a baffle because the Yaris radiator only goes 2/3 of the way across.

to: enobmort42,
yeah thats it! that's the part that got broken into pieces witch am talking about. it rattles you say? the only thing i can say about that is, trie using rubber washer with some appropriate size bolts and nuts and if needed self adhearing foam where is touches the body. to think about it, mine did rattle aswell but it wasnt too bad. to: Sir A.Y. Atoyot, that's the part name i need! thanks a lot man. i can now tell my friends brother to see if he can get those parts for me. to: b hickman11, no, i dont want to paint it white. i just need a new one to replace the broken one. the only thing i need polar white is the front bumper cover on a 07 hatch. so, if you know one who is getting rid of his, let me know. it can be used witch will save me some cash. thanks for enquiring though. to: Cali yaris, i know its funny how the radiator is off set to the left and the cooler cover completes to cover the engine from trash or devrie. i think that is the purpose of this plastic shield? i think, ha ha.

If you put that radiator in a stock yaris the "cool" light would probably take about an hour to go off.
