Thanks for the idea Racer, but I really would like something in a thick rubber. Need something that will keep my weekend purchases (5 cases coca-cola, groceries, christmas shopping, etc.) from slip-sliding all over the place.

My little girl got the nickname "YarisX." My boyfriend drives an Acura RSX-S and when you say yaris-x, it sounds like you're saying rsx.

I have yet to see another yaris in my area. so sad. but happy b/c they're rare!

Plan to get tach soon--want lightweight wheels/stickier tires when rock-hard factory rubber wears out
about 800 miles on it now, getting close to 45mpg! on (mostly) highway commute

No mods yet but a Ron Paul '08 sticker is first on the list and then tint and a nubby antenna, boyfriend took the fugly dealer sticker off

I drove it off the lot with 10 miles on it yesterday 08/25/07, the LAST 3dr available in the whole city of Memphis and surrounding suburbs. I almost snarled at another woman who was looking at it while I was getting my financing approved. I wanted Black Sand Pearl but didn't want to wait for it to come in. Drove it off the lot with 10 miles on the odometer (over half of that was my test drive), it has about 90 on it now. My boyfriend has a silver 3dr, we'd both wanted one since the winter. Yaris Twinkies.

Bought my LB last Sunday
Polar White
5 spd.
Dealer only had 1 available. From dealer with 7 star alloys, stainless shift nob, Exhaust tip, and vinyl graphics. I will post some pics when I get a chance.

Thinking about installing bigger full exhaust, header, and CAI. Also may install tach and/or scangauge

1st new car, I love it!

Skraight base model, but I will definitely be putting a tach in it! I'm sure I'll end up doing something else shortly thereafter
