Man, is it happening everywhere? I dunno, but, James Irvan Toyota in Lugoff has just recently in the past couple of weeks amassed a whole freakin fleet of Yarisi. The selection of colors looks pretty nice too. 6 lb's & 4 sedans.

Is this happening everywhere? Till now, there was maybe one sedan. Never a liftback...

From Lexington, NC

Just bought my Absolutely Red Yaris Sedan last friday from a dealership in Salisbury! I am loving it. I went from a gas guzzling 10 MPG truck to this. I am so happy! The dealer has been having a hard time keeping them in stock, only abour 3 or four, I just went down there today for another business matter and 2 of them had been sold since last week.

I usually frequent the Greensboro, High Point area and I have seen a few around. I passed some girl in a grey one and we exchanged glances and a smile.

I'm Two weeks now in my Blazin Blue Liftback. Wife has a 2005 Scion XA. That something to do with the purchase. I'm enjoying driving this car. 4 tanks of gas and all 40.2-40.9 MPG. Sold my old truck to my retired father. My commute gas savings are almost paying for the car.

Pfafftown, NC. (Outside of Winston-Salem)

Whittier NC here ......07 Black Yaris Sedan owner since Aug. 2007 we got it cause it's super easy on gas and looks really cool and I am still impressed with how good and quite it runs. My only issue's are the seat belt sometimes doesn't retract all the way when getting out of the car and the little nuts that hold the engine cover on are very weak I twisted the nut to tight and snapped the bolt easy to fix though!

I found you oleblue!

I'm almost a year in my Abs Red 3-door. I'll have to start measuring my MPG again and we'll compare.

Is anyone here using synthetic oil?

Starting on its 2nd Mobil 1 synthetic change after 3 dino changes. No improvement yet, actually, I see a reduction in mpg. Could be other factors in my case though.
1) Winter.
2) Different person (wife) driving to a different place of work (downtown Cola.). She's known to not dilly-dally. A non-granny type.

0,000 miles - new - dino
5,000 miles free Toyota oil change - dino
10,000 miles - Castrol GTX 5W-30 - dino
15,000 miles Mobil 1 5W-30 synthetic
20,000 miles Mobil 1 5W-30 synthetic
currently at 20,500 miles

We'll see...

I've been using Mobil synthetic since my first change. There's no way I'm changing it every 2500 miles, though. I've had this car less than a year and it already has 17,000 miles on it. I figure with the synthetic the recommended 5,000-mile oil change is often enough. Last time I changed it, the oil was still honey-colored. 2500 is dedicated!

This is why I change my oil every 2500 miles . Notice the body roll . How much you wanna bet that my oil is NOT in my oil pan ?

Add another new yaris owner to NC. I picked up my red yaris sedan in Dec with only 20 miles on it, now I've just turned 10,400. Love the car. Located in Greensboro, NC

Picked up a Black base liftback a week ago. Located in Charlotte. I went from a VW Beetle (Maint. nightmare) to this one. I am very happy with it. The engine is smaller than my bug, but the acceleration is about the same with 800 lbs difference in weight.

I do a LOT of parallel parking downtown and this is perfect.
