Ahh, I do remember you posting about this a while back. Your first post just sounded like you just painted it because you didn't like the paint.

No Problems Except Complete New Paint Job :(
Um, why did you need a complete new paint job on a brand new car?

Did you just feel the paint was too thin?

168,000 KM ... just got an oil change, no problems there. Although the dealer did say my coolant was a little low. So they fixed that ... so ready for winter I hope.

I just sold my 05 Echo 5 dr with 377,400 km on it and bought a new 2014 5 dr Yaris with 55 km on it.

The 05 was never any trouble. I replaced the clutch at 290,000 km myself. I do all my own maintenance. Hoping to get 300 K out of the new one too.

Welcome . Is your new 5-door Yaris an automatic or a manual? In the U.S., the 3rd Gen 5-door isn't available with a manual , unless you get an SE.

The 2014 is a manual. It has the convenience package on it with air, power windows and locks, and came with cruise (although I didn't ask for or pay for it - a happy accident).

Thanks for the welcome. I joined the forum hoping to learn more about the emission control system for the yaris. I've done some troubleshooting on other cars and am looking to gain some insight.

3999km So Far

No Issue's Yet Except A Loose Piece Under The Passenger Door Kick Plate. The folks at the dealership just ordered me a new one it gets installed Wednesday they say it may have happened during shipping.

Also somthing loose in the rear driverside wheel well. looks to be plastic the dealership said it was just a cover for somthing and a clip may have come off.

For driving this car in Northern Ontario Canada. She's been stuck twice and towed out twice. although we have had horrible weather Tons of snow freezing rain and she's back road driven alot. She plows through anything
