Do I need to hava a 1000-mile maintenance service??

I just called my dealership and asked them if I need the first 1000-mile maintenance service. They said no. And they told I just need a 5000-mile service and it is NOT free.

Is that right??

Thanks!

Yes, that's all correct. The maint. indicator will remind you for the 5000 miles service.

You should have a warranty book that came with the car. Just go by that... it even has a place for your dealership to stamp for each service. It would be a nice selling feature if you ever decided to part with something this cute and cuddly... although I don't see how you could...

I changed my oil at 1,000 miles anyway - old habits die hard.
