Yaris 2012 (MK3) front end on 2008 (MK2)

Hi! I just wanted to know if someone has tried this; an MK3 front end on an MK2

I remmember a video of an horrendously ugly orange yaris with a big bodykit and some ricer graphics going on Youtube having an MK3 front end and some Yaris MK2 tail lights...

well found the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Omu7snJEhAg

it made me think what if I can have fenders, light and hood of a 3 and put it on a 2 ?? I think it would make an awesome Hybrid of the two.... don't ya think ?

That's just bizarre looking to me. But to each his own.

I agree this one in the vid looks weird; but if I were to purchase parts for doing this, I'mma go the correct way first... aka JDM front end, HID headlights etc..

Bumping this up to see if anyone has tried this?
Looking at the parts where the fender meets the door/roofline seems to be the same?
Assuming would need hood headlights fenders ect.
If everything fit should be able to upgrade all the way to 15+?
Saw at least one person had updated a 2012 to 2015+

my understanding is that its hood, headlights, bumpers, ..unsure if its the fenders or not but a quick parts lookup for both cars on the toyota parts website will verify the fenders

it will look so out of place, 2nd gen is more bubbly and curvy, with 3rd gen feont end on it, it will be kinda whack imo, but more power to you if you want to try it out
