The MAF may benefit from being cleaned, there is no adjustment for it. To clean the MAF use an electronics cleaner in a spray can

MAF = mass air flow (sensor)

it is the sensor that is in the new tube. it is held in by two screws and has a wiring harness on it. in your picture, it is between the two hose clamps. on the nice shiny hose, it is the dirty dusty thing that you put back on it.

Basicly what he was trying to tell you.

If you unscrew those 2 phillips and disconnect the sensor, you can pull it out. Then you can clean the little shiny part in the sensor that is shown in the picture attached. It usually gets dirty and is a good idea to clean it every now and then.. esp with a filter like you have there. Those filter doent filter out as well as the paper ones do, but thats for air flow reasons..

I would disconnect your battery again, and clean the MAF sensor. then put it back. Your ecu should reset your learned driving habbits.. You MAY feel a throttle response difference but unlikely. But it doesnt hurt to clean it.

you mean that i have to clean the shiny part in the sensor followed by disconnecting the battery ,, so that i MAY feel some improvement ,,, but you are not sure that i'll feel improvement in acceleration ? ? right ?

A new intake will probably only give an extra 1-2 hp over stock, which you probably wont even notice. It's never a bad idea though to clean your MAF. Especially with how dirty your engine bay is.

you mean no increase in 0-100 acceleration "for example .. " occurs with installing new intake at all ? ?

guys : should i change the filter place ? or that's good place ?

i would like to move it slightly left and slightly down

you dont have to disconnect the battery to clean it.. but it would help..

disconnecting the battery will reset the ecu. the ecu learns driving habbits and compensates. being that you already disconnected it to begin with, you dont have to. unless u get a code.

Am I the only one about this thread

Dude i am confused. And I still disagree on there being a 1.3 sedan in 07 unless its a CAD import.
