Airbag light on and no horn

Hey people need some help here... broke my rack an pinion, changed it. at some point the steering wheels was turned to much to one side when disconected from rack and pinion, now airbag light on and no horn. Did i brake a cable?
how do go about checking that?

You broke the expensive cable - The clockspring, which is the plastic device under the steering wheel that lets it rotate while keeping the airbag and horn connected.

Here's a video I created that shows how to get at it to change it:
