AFE for the convenience and growly tone and lower price.

I carry both in stock by the way.

I used to have a Simota but changed to AFE

even though I have a cold air, I would prefer the AFE

seal the hood and there is hardly any risk of hydrolock

+1, clears up a lot of space and looks very clean. Both sound about the same under the hood.

Hydrolock is when your intake sucks up water and forces it into your engine. More of a risk with a Cold air intake as it's closer to the ground.

I thought it didn't come with a bypass, but you can buy one separate?

But I don't plan on driving in any lakes or Yaris scuba diving either.

Ohh I see. I do have that on my TRD. Never realized what it did, I just thought it caught water trying to roll down the tube.

AEM all the way .... they invent really good stuff
but personally i would take an K&N SRI (low range rpm power gains+no hydrolock+gr8 heat shield+best in filtering+easy install) and they have the guts to say how much Hp it will gain

AFE for 3 reasons
