buon giorno everyone, some nice news, I will be in Roma next week for some training at an equipment manufacturer. I think I will have some free time in the evenings, I would like to meet with some of you!

morning all plp, I'm Davide from Turin (Piedmont - italy)

a new yaris user

of course like in my signature I yet made the 1st mods that must be done on a new engine

the italian website dedicated to yaris is a pain, you can't post more than 7 times a day ... what a pity... so perhaps better here also because we can share our experiences/questions with many more persons

bye,
davide

ps: I'll suggest to speak just in english here not only because this is an international forum but above all because other non-italian speaking plp can understand us without trobules

so well friends/colleagues we should trying to speak about some nice mods we can do on our yaris model... because as you know in this forum there are a lot of modders outside our country so we don't have direct experience with our cars, that in particular can differ for some particulars to american distribution

I read for ex ALL the threads related to cruise-control installation & I think it's a very cool piece... not a must of course but really useful for those plp that use highways :)

As written in my signature I have the last yaris model (09) with the new engine 1.33 (101hp)

1st step is to ensure that my car is able to adopt the cruise-control system, by simply checking, with a flash lamp, the "dark" cockpit

2nd step un-install frontal airbag & check wires, do the same for clutch control

3rd step find the right pieces

4th try to install the cruise-control

do you think could be a good idea?? should have I to take some pictures of ALL above steps??

bye,
davide

If your warranty is soon ending , and you want to extend it, you must go to the Toyota dealer in-person, and ask for it. I found this out the hard way and it was too late for me. Toyota Italia does not send out notices (like all other car manufacturers) regarding warranty extention.

Holy moly, that translator sucks! I wrote something simple in english and then translated it. I just now tried to translate it back to english and it was nothing like what I originally wrote in english. Did my before post make any sense at all or is like spanish? Ok, bad joke. :)
