fuel pump

does this look like a real new pump for the 1.5?? seems cheap....

That is the correct one. The OEM one is made by Denso, so that Aisan is an aftermarket one.

just curious....why do you think that you need a new fuel pump? aren't you also the chap looking to do a motor/trans swap as well? if so then it sounds like you have a lot of work you are putting into the car for sure.

just buying a little time... my hatch has no power on acceleration (good at idle)unless I pump the pedal.
I cleaned the entire fuel system except the pump and filter in the tank. I put in new injectors,cleaned throttle ,all other stuff and OCV too. If it isnt the pump/regulator at 400K miles, then its the computer.
the engine swap is going to take some organizing and time.

Yes. I also messed up the fuel pump when I drove in his car in Germany. In Europe, I bought the pump from the European Yaris. Pumps have differences in appearance. I had to collect one of the two pumps.
