will get picks up, but i've been hit twice and many scratches and dents....but mechanically, you can't kill this thing!

auto transmission............two sets of brakes, one trans flush, 2 sets of tires, one serpantine belt, two headlights replacements, (that was the hardest part!)

Nice! Love seeing the high mileage examples.

Look forward to pics (don't worry about the flaws). Get a pic of the odometer too if you can.

What's the percentage breakdown of highway/city driving?

Also a courier of course. He's probably the only one with more than you.

Keep us updated!

Yeah, change the serpentine belt. Shops change as low as $70. $140 at the stealership. Just changed mine at 86K and it was full of cracks. Better to spend the $70 before it snaps.

Probably should consider a tune up/spark plug replacement.

Check brakes.

So Janeybug, you're still on the original water pump? Certainly kills the idea that these are short lived parts.

update............224,000 miles
this month i replace tires, did brakes last month...........

back tires have well over 120k on them but they still have most of the tread left.........they get absolutely no wear since no weight on them, front tires replace every 65k........using motorcraft synthetic blend every 5k with no problems........realistically, how far can this go?

Nice Janeybug! Good to hear from you again. Don't be such a stranger around here.

Can you list all of your repairs? I bet they are very few. Was that brake job your first?
