It's still under warranty.
I'd bring it to the dealer.

I don't think exhaust is covered under warranty.

I'd hope it would be covered by a one year warranty at the very least.

Up to 3 years, 36k miles, everything other than wear and tear are covered.
Exhaust does not wear out... at least I think so.

unless you hit something, it should be covered under warranty. chances are you did, because i cant see how a piece of steel would fail. I know a guy who backed up into something in his mazda3 and it wrecked everything right up to the header! He went into see how much a new OEM exhaust would be, and of course it was significally cheaper for him to buy all aftermarket, header + cat-back. Dealer wanted like $2000 (because it included the cat) and the cat-back was like $1500. I'm sure he could have found used to stuff online for like $50, but he probably wanted aftermarket anyway.

Mine's doing the same thing, I thought it was my exhaust tip, but it does it with it off too. I have to take it in for oil change I will have them look at that too. Mine seems to rattle when you are stopped at a light, does not do it when in parked. I think it has something to do with a heat shield or something.

Update: Went to the dealer to get it fixed, it was a lose license plate, it has not rattled any today.
