The wife and I messed with long exposure the other night in a local park at the end of my neighborhood

This one I liked.. looks like we caught a ghost :)

i shot these with the 50mm 1.8

i think i had it at like 8 seconds ISO 100 and f/2.0 ..i think. the bugs were bad since its on the river and we brought the dog.. who was very annoying .. so i didnt get to experiment like i wanted to. next time we'll leave the dog home :)

i usually stick with canon because the lenses are usually a little cheaper and easier to find used. Nikon definitely has a better camera in my book. I'd love to get my hands on a D90 to mess with HD video through the slr lenses :)

For now though canon works :) I traded a small reef tank i was trying to get rid of to cut down on the electric bill..

i've been playing craigslist to get new lenses and such .. buying cheap canon film cameras with lenses that will work on my camera and selling the stuff i dont need to pay for what i got out of it :)

so far i've collected 8-9 filters couple hoods, 50mm, 22-55, 55-200, i really want to get a 10mm or something really wide angle for the next lens.

i think the berry pic is my fave.. prolly will print that and mat it and put it in the stock pile.. i hope to get a good stock of framed/matted shots that i can throw in some consignment shops :)

i used the manual focus for the berry pic it kept wanting to focus on the leaves

i posted my link to my flickr on craigslist the other day and had one person say they didnt want to be catty.. but .. and listed off some stuff.. i appreciate the criticism ..lol how else are we to learn? :)
