If you watch just before he throws a rod/piston, you can see the silver streak of bolts (I assume they're bolts) shooting through the hood.

Haw haw. He made a big worthless paperweight.

I like the other video on there with the SRT-10 pickup burnout attempt that goes in the ditch and dirty side up. That's much more expensive Chrysler carnage than the Neon.

He overrevved the engine with the clutch disengaged.

Most of you are too young to remember Skylab and the hoopla when it was announced that it was going to fall out of orbit and that parts might land on populated areas. People were having Skylab parties and drinking beer with pointy helmets on. A hospital security guard in Florida was home sick with the flu when a hot piece of metal with gear teeth on one edge crashed through the roof of his trailer. He called the police and said he'd been hit by Skylab. Turned out a teenage boy 1/4 mile down the road had just put his newly rebuilt engine into his Camaro and was gunning it up. The flywheel exploded, tearing out the bell housing and whole cowl area of the car. A piece of the flywheel is what came through the roof. The kid was lucky he didn't lose his feet.
