Do you get hassled by the cops for having your plate on the dash? It is illegal in Texas. I got a verbal warning for it and I know other people in the Houston area who have gotten tickets for it. Also, I had one of those plastic plate covers (with the two mounting holes) on my Yaris when I had California plates on it (while driving in Texas). The very day that I got my Texas plates, I bought a pair of new plastic plate covers and put them on with the plates. That night I got pulled over for having these plate covers on my Yaris . I asked the cop why Wal-Mart sells these covers in Texas if it isn't legal to have them on your car in Texas. The cop recited a host of things Wal-Mart sells in their stores in Texas that aren't legal to possess in Texas .

I think my winter project will be to give the lips on my Works a thorough cleaning (and maybe refinish a bit of curb rash), then plastidip the centres.

You've got guts... Aren't you afraid of someone mistaking your wheels for clay pigeons?

Pull!!
