Bump stop help
Hi guys
I am raising my yaris back up after lowering it with tein springs and forgot that I had cut the bump stops in the struts when I did that job. If I just reassemble the struts with the cut bump stops will shocks bottom out and get wrecked? I imagine they won't since there will still be a bump stop there, though it's just shorter.... I don't know the length of the stock bump stops to know exactly how much I cut off, and I can't remember because it was several years ago that I did the work... I don't think there's anywhere in town where I can get bump stops and I need to complete this job like YESTERDAY so I don't really know what I should do here. My friend said go buy some hockey pucks and drill holes in them to add them in there for a bit more buffer but I don't know... |
