hahaha....that's where i feel this thread is going...well, started.

how is someone not in your car gonna know if you have a ssk or not, and if they are going to know, why would they be impressed with the whopping 97hp, tiny engine, stock 9" brakes, or the fact that the car weighs in at a whopping 2300 lbs???

it's an economy car...not a bugati, not a lambo, and def not a ferarri.

oh i get it...it must have been the OP that got their attention...

so noone's confused...i'm not flamin...and yes i'm making fun of my own car.

I installed the short shift kit, the cage bushings and cable bushings about a month ago and I love them. I would never go back to stock, the shifting is quick and precise, I love it!

And with the NST underdrive crank pulley and the water pump pulley (also got the alternator pulley, but haven't got time to install it yet), the shifting has improved considerably.

A lot of people were saying that the light NST pulleys will affect the throttle control a little (since the engine will rev easier because of less inertia), but I actually LIKE the way it changed. I consider the new feeling a definite improvement! I feel like shifting is easier now, first because of the shortened shifter travel and second because the engine rpm will match the speed of the car in the new gear faster, making the overall shifting experience smoother.

Can't wait to save some more money for a few new goodies from NST. Christmas is coming...
