transmission wont go into OD

Hello

I have a 2008 yaris that wont go into OD. I am getting a p0717 code.
Input/turbine speed sensor no signal. I understand that it wont shift into OD until the car is warmed up. that doesnt seem to be the issue.

I have 2 wires that do not seem to be connected to anything any ideas what they are??

I was also wondering if anyone could tell me where the coolant sensor is

in the pictures I was curious what those wires are for and what they are supposed to connect too

also is there a place I could down load a wiring diagram of the car

thanks

The violet/blue wires on the connector on the left are supposed to be plugged into the VSV Purge valve which is a grey block with hoses coming out of it that should be mounted to that L shaped metal bracket on the left.

The turbine sensor on the tranny is the black one with the 2 pin connector plugged into it just behind where the tranny dipstick enters.

The sensor is likely the issue, as the code points to it and it would indeed prevent the tranny from going into OD.
