Thanks for posting that article, Mark.

It was interesting to see the comparisons and to note that size was as relevant factor as the other characteristics. I run an oversized dry cotton filter and it works fine.

Good choice ;) Size will make a big difference, larger the suface area, the more air that can pass through.
But for if you have restricted space, its quite usefull to know.

If you have ever looked at a stock toyota Echo air box, you will notice that it doesn't take a whole lot of air to feed our motors.

For guys with twin turbo chevies and fords, air filter selection may make a difference.
