Question Eletrical problems?

So here's the two problems. 1. I got my car out of the shop from hittin a pole bout month ago and the airbag light comes and stays on......could it be linked? the airbags did'nt go off or anything.

My other problem is with my lock/unlock switch on the door for all doors. It's been locking but not unlocking, never acted up before

For the airbag light, check this thread for instructions on how to read the error code:

For the door unlock issue, you'd need a voltmeter to test at various points, starting with the connector on the bottom of the switch assembly, to see where the problem lies.

Shorts cause fuses to blow or make fire. If it's intermittent, then it is more likely a loose connection.
