Winterized Yarii

Anyone else that lives north do the transformation yet?

Place your pics here if so with a before (Spring/Summer/Fall) look and after (Winter).

I'm about 90% there. Only thing that's left is probably removing the vinyl. Everything goes back on the first week of April.

Before

After

P.S. Anyone have 2 2007 15" hubcaps they are willing to part with like mine? My fronts are messed up.

Salt mainly. If I had a beater already, I would have bought a car cover. But hey, it's easy to put on lol.

Plus lookiing to get the eyelids wraped in carbon hopefully so they were gonna come off anyway.

Looks really good with the golden rims and CF hood. Kinda like a WRX style with the blue/gold colour.

I would think the tow hook would be more useful in the winter than the summer. Where did you get yours?

Hey Treyz, is your front bumper painted black in the center or is it a piece. It looks real good.

Vinyl my friend .. vinyl. Kinda was a pain to do the corners, but nothing a blowdryer can't handle.

Only thing painted was the lower grill.

If yo can get your hands on a dark gunmetal, it could work thatboyjer. But not too light. Just enought to distiguish the two colors on the black. Unless you use a flat black maybe also?

put a white or grey or whatever color you want and have the yaris world logo cut in it, so you will have a "whatever color" vinil with the logo in black.

hey I think we need someone with photoshop to create an exemple of that!

I really like the front of the car. Where did you get the vinyl for that and what kind of paint did you use on the lower grill?

It's so tempting to do this to my car, but I know I'm too lazy, I'm still curious though, it looks really good!
