mathematically they fit. here's why.

we know that a 7" wide +45mm does not rub.

add 25.4MM (divided by two, 13mm for argument's sake)

subtract 10mm (35 offset instead of 45 offset)

and you're 3mm more "inset" than a 7" wide wheel in a +45 offset

you're also 23mm more outboard than a 7" +45MM

but with a bit of camber, and the right tire size you should be able to make it fit with cosmetic-only rubbing (rubbing that will not damage your tires or metal in any way, and can most likely be removed by blistering your fender liners with a spoon heated under a butane torch). KNGRSLL has proven that a 7" +25mm ( only 3mm less "poke" than your proposed setup) fits with only cosmetic rubbing and has even added PG spacers with minimal rub (but not ideal)

i say do it. please run at least a 205 tire though, no stupid stretch please. if you can, get a 215 40 16 i think it should be a common enough size.

I'm gonna grab some 16x8 +34 Rota Slipstream Flat Black and run penguin 10mm spacers in the rear with camber bolts in the front. For tires I'm going to go with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 205/50R16. I'm not going to bother buying them now with winter so near, but For the price and weight you can't beat it. I'm going to buy the Tokico Blues after my next paycheck, install everything and grab some decent snows.

you can do 15X8's (yes, yes, like mine) for $104 a copy and they're lighter than the slips. tires will be cheaper too!

thank you, I am going with 16's mainly for looks... I find 15's make the tires look too beefy. I'm not too worried about the weight because it's a daily driver and I'm not planing on racing with the car.

then why are you buying rota slipstreams? that's one of the ugliest wheels ever if you're going for looks find something that's at least a LITTLE good looking.

the slipstreams were outdated 5 years ago. any wheel looks good in black. those wheels in the pic are TR motorsports C1's .

I'm definitely going with the slipstreams because +20 in the front is too big imo.

well I also plan on grabbing some coilovers in the next year and having about .5" gap, I don't doubt they wont fit on a yaris with reasonable gap but I want to go for stretched/ slammed look.

lol, I expected that reaction... It's just my style, I love the look of a slammed car with stretched tires.
